Early spider concepts and a few ideas for more Bug People drawings. Thoughts welcome!
Luna Moth (Actias luna)
Remember those realistic moth paintings I did about a year ago? They started out as acrylic charm designs but escalated as the series went on into full-blown paintings. While getting them ready for prints and for display in an upcoming local show, I decided to repaint some of the earlier ones as the files were too small to use. Compare to the original luna.
I’m planning to do set 2 sometime soon, so feel free to suggest moth species to me that you would like to see painted this way!
A few more things from MFF + a recent twitter doodle. Also, here’s my con report!
Drawings and doodles from MFF 2013!
Some little things.
Q:In the event someone doesn't win your prints and is still interested in them, are they available for sale?
Yes they are! I’m working on getting a shop set up, but until then, you can just email me to set up an order (or with any questions). The originals for some of those pieces are also still available.

Big mean palmetto bug! Tried something new to make him shiny. His antenna got bent in inking, but I left it alone; gives him a little character.
